POSITION DESCRIPTION &
QUALIFICATIONS
Primary functions or general purpose
of the job is to provide support, supervision, and training to
adults with mental retardation/developmental disabilities in
all aspects of daily living.

18 years of age or older

Able to pass the criminal
history check

Negative pre-employment drug
screen
-
Has a driving record which is
acceptable to the corporation insurance carrier

Ability to speak, read and
write conversational English
-
Ability to prioritize
multiple work tasks

Respectful towards others
-
Flexible in meeting the needs
in and of the work environment

Possesses basic negotiation
skills
-
Is efficient at completing
tasks
-
Possesses basic math skills
including addition, subtraction, carrying, multiplication,
division, decimals, fractions, money concepts

Able to tell time including
how to read and write time

Able to lift 50 lbs
-
Is physically able to deal
with client aggressive behavior

Has reliable transportation
to work site(s)
